Negative & Slide Restoration

Negative and slides are subject to degradation over the years. Colors fade, shift and ultimately disappear after some time. Fortunately, pictures can be brought back to life, sometimes even better than any prints made from them at the time, by scanning the film and making some adjustments to the digital image. I offer high-resolution DSLR scanning of film of all sizes and will work to restore your images.

Here are some samples of some medium-format slides from 1959 to 1961 on which I was able to reverse the age-related color loss. In the images, the cyan dye has faded leaving the red predominant.
